Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda Endorses Emily Myers for Seattle City Council District 4

SEATTLE- Emily Myers, candidate for Seattle City Council, District 4, has been endorsed by sitting Councilmember, Teresa Mosqueda of at-large position 8. Councilmember Mosqueda joins State Senator Claire Wilson, the MLK Labor Council, Laborers Local 242, PROTEC17 and UAW4121 in endorsing Emily Myers for City Council.

“I am incredibly grateful for Councilmember Mosqueda’s support in this race, her endorsement and encouragement mean the world to me,” Myers said. “I admire her unwavering support for policies that strengthen workers rights and collective bargaining, her ability to build coalitions across our city, and her commitment to ensuring Seattle works for everyone in our community.

“I look forward to fighting alongside Councilmember Mosqueda to create opportunity for all in Seattle, improve housing and childcare affordability, and build healthy communities on the Council.”

Councilmember Mosqueda will join Myers, the MLK Labor Council, and volunteers from LiUNA242, PROTEC17 and UAW4121 at 10:00 AM on Saturday April 27th at UAW4121 office, 2633 Eastlake Ave E, to launch a district-wide canvass of working families. The Myers campaign has knocked nearly 2000 doors in their first month of field organizing, and looks forward to reaching thousands more before Election Day.
